We started this business because we saw a gap in how junk removal was done in Philadelphia specifically. Most national junk removal franchises price by phone, show up, revise the number when they see the actual pile, and send whatever crew is available that day. We built our business around a different model: on-site estimates, written quotes, consistent crew, and a genuine donation-first commitment rather than a marketing slogan.

What we commit to donating, we actually donate. And we provide itemized donation receipts on request so customers can document the charitable contribution for tax purposes.

How We Quote — Honestly

We don't quote on the phone. Not because we can't — because phone quotes are almost always wrong, and wrong phone quotes create an adversarial relationship between customer and crew when the actual number is different from what was discussed.

The way we quote: we visit your address, walk through every space that has items to be removed, assess the actual load volume, and give you a written quote on the spot. The number you approve is the number you pay. We don't revise the quote when the truck is loaded. We don't add surcharges for heavy items, stairs, or difficult access — those factors are visible during the walkthrough and priced into the quote accordingly.

This is more work for us than a phone-quote model. It's also the only honest way to do it. A phone quote for a basement clearout that turns out to be half again the estimated volume either leaves the crew unpaid for the work or the customer feeling overcharged at the end. We eliminate both outcomes by seeing the job before we quote it.

Licensed and Insured

We carry general liability insurance for every job we do. Working in tight Philadelphia spaces — narrow staircases, low-clearance basements, alley garages — creates real risk of property damage if the crew isn't careful and if the insurance isn't in place when something goes wrong. We're careful, and we're covered.

Our certificate of insurance is available on request before any job. We don't ask customers to simply trust us on this — we can prove coverage before we start work.

What We Don't Do

Being clear about what we don't do is part of being honest about what we do:

• We don't fly-dump. Everything we haul goes to licensed disposal facilities, certified recyclers, or registered charity partners. We don't dump illegally, and we don't use facilities that do.
• We don't handle asbestos. Material suspected to contain asbestos requires licensed abatement — we don't haul it and we flag it when we see it on a walkthrough so you can address it before demolition.
• We don't pressure-sell upgrades at the job site. The written quote is the scope. We don't upsell additional services mid-job or suggest that things need to be added after you've approved the quote.
• We don't revise written quotes upward. If the actual load is significantly less than quoted (it rarely is, since we walk through the space before quoting), we adjust the price down. We don't adjust up.
